PlayCrew Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the PlayCrew mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PlayCrew is a team management and game organization platform that allows users to:

  • Create and manage teams
  • Schedule and organize games
  • Process payments for team activities
  • Communicate with team members
  • Integrate with calendar and payment systems

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • One account per person

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activities under your account
  • Do not share your account with others

3.3 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Misuse the App or its features
  • Fail to pay required fees

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the App to:

  • Organize legitimate team activities
  • Communicate with team members
  • Process payments for team activities
  • Manage team membership and administration

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the App for illegal activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App
  • Use automated systems to access the App
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • Upload malicious code or viruses

5. Team Management

5.1 Team Creation

  • Team creators become team administrators
  • Teams must have a unique code for joining
  • Team names must be appropriate and not offensive

5.2 Team Administration

  • Team administrators can manage team settings
  • Administrators can add or remove team members
  • Administrators can create and manage games
  • Administrators can process team payments

5.3 Team Membership

  • Members can participate in team activities
  • Members can view team information and games
  • Members can communicate with other team members
  • Members can leave teams at any time

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed through Stripe
  • We do not store credit card information
  • Payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms
  • All payments are final unless otherwise specified

6.2 Refunds

  • Refunds are at the discretion of team administrators
  • Refund requests must be made within 30 days
  • Processing fees may not be refundable
  • Contact team administrators for refund requests

6.3 Fees

  • Team administrators may charge fees for team activities
  • All fees must be clearly disclosed
  • Payment amounts are set by team administrators
  • We may charge processing fees for transactions

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

  • The App and its content are owned by PlayCrew
  • All trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content
  • You may not reverse engineer or decompile the App

7.2 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create
  • You grant us a license to use your content to provide the service
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to your content
  • You may not upload content that infringes others' rights

8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 Privacy Policy

  • Your privacy is important to us

  • We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You consent to our data practices by using the App

8.2 Data Security

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service

  • Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your content or activities

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state/territory in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

11.2 Dispute Resolution Process

  • First, contact us to resolve disputes informally
  • If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration
  • Mediation/arbitration will be conducted in Australia under Australian law
  • You may also seek resolution through the Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act 2010

11.3 Australian Consumer Law

  • Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these Terms
  • You may have additional rights under Australian Consumer Law
  • Consumer guarantees apply where applicable
  • You can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for assistance

12. Modifications to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time
  • We will notify you of material changes
  • Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms
  • You may terminate your account if you disagree with changes

13. Termination

13.1 Your Right to Terminate

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • Account deletion is permanent

  • We may terminate your account for violations
  • We may discontinue the service with notice
  • We may suspend accounts pending investigation
  • Termination does not affect accrued obligations

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Internet outages
  • Third-party service failures
  • Acts of war or terrorism

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlayCrew regarding the App.

18. Age Restrictions

18.1 Minimum Age
